Low cost Cat5e UTP Essential modules from one of the worlds largest manufacturers of structured cabling systems. The 25x50mm modules are available in low profile and standard profile versions. The low profile version has a depth from the rear of the faceplate of 15mm, the standard version is 23mm. A 50x50mm triple version (3xCat5e ports) within the space normaly occupied by two 25x50mm modules (part number 424.522) is also available for high density applications. Supplied with tie wraps. All modules are LSA (Krone) termination and are supplied with label windows and tie wraps.

|
The Nexans Essential-6 keystone connectors are manufactured and tested to the latest Category 6 specifications. They support Class E applications up to 250 MHz. When installed in conjunction with Essential-6 cable and patch panels, a 20 year Class E Link Certificate can be obtained from the Nexans web site.
Design
The Essential-6 keystone connectors are designed to match with Essential-6 cable and patch cords and all Essential-6 modular components, such as empty keystone patch panels (N521.660 : white and N521.660BK : black) and keystone faceplates, available in both UK and European format (25x50mm : N423.650 and 22.5x45mm : N423.645).
The modular jack is designed for keystone footprints of 14.78mm width, 20-20.78mm height and 1.5mm wall thickness and therefore fits into a variety of keystone formatted structural hardware available on the market. (Please check compatibility with Nexans before using 3rd party hardware)
The Essential-6 connectors can be used with all types of Category 6 cable with solid wire from 22 to 24 AWG.
Performance
The Essential-6 keystone connectors are compliant with the specifications of ISO/IEC 11801: 2002.
Installation
The wire organiser guarantees fast and easy termination of the Essential-6 keystone connector without the need for a punchdown tool. An optional comfort tool (N420.567) can be used to increase the ease of installation.

The Essential-6 outlet modules are compatible with the complete Essential-6 range and fit into all Nexans UK structural hardware. The spring shuttered modules come in glossy white finish, matching with most British style structural hardware. They are available in different versions:

The modules are equipped with transparent label holders fitted with a blank paper label for customised port identification.

UTP & shielded Cat5e and Cat6 LANmark jacks snap into the relevant plastic module (angled or flat), for use in wallplates. LAnmark jacks are terminated by hand without the need for punch down tooling, although the hand held comfort tool (part number 420.567)should be used for faster and easier termination of large volumes. LANmark jacks can be re-terminated if the comfort tool is used. They are designed for fast termination & have performance that far exceeds the relevant Cat5e or Cat6 specifications.

This completely new designed assembly tool for LANmark-7 GG45 automates the removal of the pair foils and positioning of the wires in the cable holder when terminating GG45 to STP cables. This tool eliminates the biggest causes of installation failures, by cutting the 4 individual foils at equal length, and makes installation even easier as it is already today. At the same time the tool ensures that the foils remain closed up to the point where they are introduced into the wire organiser of the LANmark-7 GG45 connector. This contributes to the performance obtained and improves repeatability and consistency. The Nexans designed tool is the first in the industry and is patent pending.
Installation
A user's manual is included with the tool. The cutting blades are adjustable and replaceable.
